A Guide Uploading a Lecture Recording into Echo360
Step 1: Go to the Moodle site of the Course you want to add the recording
Step 2: Click on the “Lecture Recordings” Echo360 link. If you don’t have one, then create this link by adding it as an activity.

Step 3: You will see the lecture recordings of the current Term, you now need to click on the “echo360” in the top left-hand corner. You will then see a list of classes like below (or if you don’t have any classes added yet this will be blank and you can click “New Class” to add more classes).

Step 4: Click on the “+” icon at the end of the row like this for the class you wish to add a video and click on the drop-down menu item “Add video”.

Step 5: Click on “Upload a file”. 
Step 6: Select the lecture recording you want to upload from your computer and click open. Note file make take around 1 to 10 minutes to upload depending on the file size, once it is uploaded here.

Step 7: Once the file has finished uploading click the “Upload” button on the bottom left-hand corner and the video file will be uploaded.
Step 8: You can see that the lecture video file is upload because it will have either a grey loading box or green arrow button on the right-hand side of the Class Section stream. It make take around 1 to 10 minutes for the file to turn from grey to green depending on file size. Check back in around 10 mins to see if it has uploaded. You can click on the class name to play the file. Also powerpoint slides can be uploaded as desired – these are displayed side-by-side with the video and are not downloable to students.
